📽️My reaction to the movie📽️

I'm not a huge fan of Kathryn Bernardo, but I've seen her films and TV shows, and I think she's an outstanding actress. I really enjoy the backstories of her projects, so I'm extremely excited to see this one too. I am aware that this has already been shown on a big screen and that it has been accessible on Netflix for a while, but I haven't viewed it until lately due to my current hectic schedule. Additionally, I didn't see any conversations regarding this movie, therefore I haven't read or seen any reviews.

To be honest, I was underwhelmed from the beginning of the film. Kathryn Bernardo appeared to be overacting. Her acting felt forced to me, maybe because I'm simply not used to it. The plot was strange as well, and I wasn't too into it at first. I was also somewhat distracted by how thin she looked there. Perhaps that was part of the film, but I was distracted because the character did not fit her well. She excels at acting in moments involving crying and her tears flow easily. However, I didn't like most of the movie's scenes since she didn't match the role of a spoilt or liberated character.

The plot revolves around revenge, and although I could feel Kathryn's character's rage throughout the film, the ending was very obvious. To be honest, I thought the plot might veer more, but perhaps that was all the writer could come up with. Since vengeance is never a good thing—especially in this day and age when so many people copy what they see in movies—I don't think it's worth viewing this enraged, nasty film.

The plot is quite bizarre. I didn't find it appealing in spite of its strangeness. I looked at it from several perspectives, but it still didn't suit my tastes. Perhaps my disappointment stemmed from having unrealistic expectations. This is the first movie I've seen where Kathryn doesn't have a love team, thus I was frustrated that she was given this type of plot. There are actually more roles suited for Kathryn outside of romance, but this one didn't do justice to her character.

I personally wouldn't suggest this film because it's dark and can negatively affect viewers. The film contains delicate scenes that should not be watched. Next time, maybe, Kathryn will think things through before taking the story, since it has the power to make or destroy her. I hope she doesn't embark on too gloomy roles since many young people look up to her. She should exercise caution in selecting the parts she plays because it's concerning that young people may emulate what they watch.
