Do you recall the Korean drama that quickly rose to prominence among young viewers? Suzy Bae, Kim Soo-hyun, IU, Ham Eun-jung, Taec-yeon, and Jang Woo-young were the stars of the drama Dream High. Kirin High School served as the setting for this drama, which aired many years ago.

According to the story, six teenage Kirin High School classmates had K-Pop idol aspirations. While studying in Kirin, they honed their musical composition, dance, and singing skills. They all had their own unique skills and flaws, yet despite their disagreements, they were able to make their debut together.

📽️My reaction to this drama📽️

I’ve been a fan of Korean dramas for a while, and I’ve seen this one several times. Every time I see this, for some reason—I’m not sure why—I feel older. I adored the way they practiced and refined their vocals. The character Sam-dong, played by Kim Soo-hyun, is my favorite here. At the time, I didn’t know him, but thanks to his impressive performance, I became acquainted with him and began to watch his series. He has singing and acting skills. He did a great job of portraying his character. After seeing this play, I was reminded of the childhood aspirations I once had, and I began to question why I did not follow those aspirations. hahaha

I also discovered that the drama had been turned into a Japanese musical, which had been created by the “Dream High: Musical Production Committee” and had ran at the New National Theatre Tokyo from July 3 to 20, 2012, proving that it had performed well on the billboard chart. Wow! A round of applause for the entire squad.

For fans of Korean dramas and K-pop stars, I would suggest watching this drama. Even though I primarily enjoy Korean dramas and not K-pop, I found this to be really interesting.

My Overall Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️💕(4.5/5)
